The first day of the ride sees us setting off in high spirits from the very bottom of the UK at Lands End and cutting through the centre of Cornwall (Kernow) passing through places including: Sennen, Porkellis, Tregony and ending up slightly Northeast of St Austell. As beautiful this part of Cornwall is, its far from flat and will be a challenging first day to prepare us for a challenging two weeks.
Day 2 St Austell to Exeter
Day two sees us skirting across the remainder of the South Cornish coast before entering Devon and cutting diagonally through it on our way up to Exeter. We will pass through places including: Loo, Yelverton, Postbridge and Dunsford before finally arriving in Exeter. This mammoth ride will take us directly through Dartmoor’s National Park with all its hills…
Day 3 Exeter to Bristol
Day three will take us from Exeter in the South up through the middle of Devon, passing through Somerset and onto Avon passing places including: Cullompton, Wellington, Launton, Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea.
Day 4 Bristol to Hereford (England to Wales)
Day Four will be a monumental day taking us briefly into our second visited country of Wales. We will skirt past Bristol passing places such as Sandsford and Nortons Wood Lane before crossing the old Severn Bridge and entering Wales. Here we will pass through Chepstow, and through the hilly countryside of Monmouthshire.
Day 5 and onwards to be published soon
